At Friends of Togo, we believe that every child deserves access to proper healthcare, regardless of their background or financial situation. Many children in Togo suffer from preventable diseases, malnutrition, and a lack of medical care. Our Health for Children in Africa Program ensures that young lives are protected, nurtured, and given the opportunity to thrive.
How We Support Children’s Health
- Medical Checkups & Vaccinations – Provides routine health screenings, immunizations, and early disease detection.
- Preventive Healthcare – Educates families on hygiene, sanitation, and nutrition to prevent illness.
- Treatment for Common Childhood Illnesses – Funds medical care for malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, and other preventable diseases.
- Malnutrition Prevention & Food Assistance – Supplies nutrient-rich meals to fight hunger and promote healthy growth.
- Maternal & Infant Care – Supports expectant mothers with prenatal care and safe childbirth assistance to reduce infant mortality.
